Justin Boxler "Jardin de Vignes" Field Blend, Alsace, France 2022

Justin Boxler "Jardin de Vignes" Field Blend, Alsace, France 2022

A blend of Pinot Auxerrois, Chasselas, Gewurztraminer and Riesling.

Like a garden where different plant varieties coexist, this wine is the result of a blend of several plots and grape varieties from the Justin Boxler estate. It reflects the diversity and balance of the vineyard, in a free and vibrant approach.

The Justin Boxler Estate is a family-owned winery located in Niedermorschwihr since 1672. Their wines are a faithful reflection of their places of origin, expressed in the most unique way, with no influence other than that of the Alsatian microclimate. Produced from a selection of predominantly granite and marl-limestone plots, located on the steep, sunny slopes of Niedermorschwihr, Katzenthal, Turckheim, and Ingersheim, they reflect the diversity and richness of the local terroirs.

Grapes are harvested by hand and then gently pressed for approximately six hours to preserve all their aromatic finesse. Fermentation takes place naturally in century-old oak barrels using indigenous yeasts. The wines are then aged on fine lees throughout the winter, before being bottled at the end of summer.
