On the nose, charred oak and cracked peppercorn, with almonds, honey and toffee. The palate shows flavors of dark cherries, with walnut, spicy pepper, cinnamon, coffee, and leather. This whiskey finishes strong with leather, tobacco with chocolate cinnamon and a bit of clove.
